How To Stop Panic Attack Fast

By Riley West

This one question, "How to stop panic attacks" is the single most important thing people struggling with anxiety disorder want answered.

A lot of the methods for curing panic attacks are very temporary, some less so, but, as far as I know only one cure works. Only one cure works fast and is totally natural. We'll cover that in a bit.

And just what is this thing we call a "Panic Attack"? It's like a plane kicking into afterburner! Your anxiety spikes with the fear of an oncoming attack and away you go.

There are also the thoughts and emotions that go on during this insane rush of physical symptoms.

The overriding feeling is that of fear. And it's this fear that is the key to how to stop panic attacks.

We descended from ancestors that survived because of the "fight or flight" rush of adrenaline brought on by sudden fear.

We inherited this trait, because this very trait enabled our ancestors to survive. Survival gave them the time to breed and pass down the instinct, thereby helping to insure survival of our children. We have it, it's built in, and it's normal.

But it isn't normal to have a huge rush of anxiety at the thought of a business meeting. Especially a meeting you have been to many times without the panic crises.

This scenario is played out daily by tens of thousand of people who are stuck in this sort of a self fulfilling premonition.

You are afraid of the panic attack and you are especially afraid of it in a business meeting. When you get to the meeting...bingo! That's your trigger.

You see, people who don't have the panic attack syndrome running amok in their lives, will encounter something dangerous, jump into the "solution mode" (fight or flight) and deal with it. They'll run away or, in some manner , be stronger than the fear.

But a person who is stuck, temporarily, with the panic attack, super anxiety disorder will encounter their little fear trigger, which is commonly their fear of a panic attack, and it'll quickly escalate into a full blown fear and panic episode.

When I was struggling with panic attacks (for six years!) my fear trigger was the thought of a meeting, business or personal. I was afraid that I would have a panic attack that caused me to behave like a crazy man, AND that I wouldn't be able to explain it to my friends and associates! So, even though my main fear was that of a panic attack, it was also all tied up with embarrassment, ego and the feeling that maybe I really was crazy and losing it fast.

If you want to know how to stop panic attacks you have to get rid of your fear of them, and that can be done fairly easily. I wish I'd have known that when I was having my life wrecked by these horrible periods that just seemed to keep coming. But I didn't. Still I remained determined to get rid of these frightful scenes.

Finally, and quite randomly, I came to the mental positioning it took for me to discard my fear of panic attacks. I did it in about two minutes on one afternoon while stopped at a traffic light. It was as easy as making a simple decision. But it took me six years to get there! What a waste! Still, I did it! And you can do it, too. It just takes a little change in your thought processes at the onset of a panic attack that allows you to stop being afraid of the attacks. That breaks the "spell".

Only you don't have to wait six years! Discover how to stop panic attacks today. - 30437
