Techniques to help you stop panic attacks:

Breathing techniques - this technique may help you motivate yourself from negative thinking into a positive outlook. Breathing stimulates your body during an attack and is a good technique in order to stop the attack. This technique relaxes and calms your down back into a normal condition.

Exercise - choose ones that you enjoy and are fun. Avoid exercises that you think are boring to perform, they will not have any effect on you. Exercise is key to motivate your mind and body to function properly. Therefore it is very important to exercise regularly. This can help you achieve your goal to fully recover from a panic disorder.

Sleeping hours - getting enough sleep is good for your body, boosts immune system and helps your mind to relax and stay focused. In any treatment you chose, good sleeping will increase its effectiveness. Keep yourself motivated, it will alleviate your healing capability.

Maintain the above mentioned self-treatment techniques. It doesnt just reduce your chances of panic attacks, but it increases your recovery as well.

Another treatment that is effective is changing your eating habits. Eat similar hours and amounts each day. Make sure the foods you eat are the foods that will nourish your body. Knowing in your mind not all foods are good for you. If you need to know what those foods consist of, consult your doctor or refer to a dietitian.
